The pavilion in the City park is available to reserve for special events for a nominal rental fee of $25.00. The pavilion is equipped with a BBQ grill, water fountain, picnic tables, lighting and several electrical outlets for use during rentals. If you have any questions, please call City Hall during regular business hours at 491-3614.
Bring the completed application to City Hall to reserve a date for your special event. You can also check the calendar to see what dates are available for rental. If the pavilion is reserved, you will see "PAVILION RESERVED" listed on that date.
The old pavilion in the park was recently demolished to make way for a new one to be constructed this summer. Photos of the demolition can be viewed HERE.
Many thanks to Allied Waste Services of Jefferson City for their generosity in getting the old pavilion demolished.
The new pavilion is now up and looks great! Several pieces of park equipment were repaired as well. Photos can be seen HERE.
Additional gravel parking was also provided along Chestnut Street next to the Post Office for residents visiting the park.
